As a child worker in a dumping yard or garbage trash in my past, my days were spent in a dismal and hazardous environment, surrounded by the stench and filth of discarded waste. I was weak, untidy and was eating unclean food, my parents were trash pickers and even begged for food in some Streets. The sun beat down relentlessly, and the air was thick with dust and debris. The work was backbreaking, and each day brought the risk of injury and illness. I longed for a life beyond the dumping yard. Finally I got a good environment with the help of Children's Home.
